Heartsaver First Aid Training
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. It is designed for people in the workplace who want to learn how to provide First Aid in an emergency.
We also have a blended/hybrid course available. Students complete the classroom learning portion of the course online when it's convenient for them. Then they will complete the skills assessment portion in-person with an Instructor from CPR For Us.
This First Aid course trains participants in first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.
Course Curriculum:
- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certification/Course Completion Card. This certification is valid for 2 years.
This course can be taken alone or in combination with CPR/AED course.
