Heartsaver CPR/AED Training
This course is designed for those with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR/AED to meet job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA) or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. It is designed for people in the workplace who want to learn how to help an adult, child, or infant having a cardiac or choking emergency.
We also have a blended/hybrid course available. Students take the classroom portion of the course online when it's convenient for them. Then they will complete the skills assessment portion in-person with an Instructor from CPR For Us.
This CPR/AED course teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. This class will prepare students to provide CPR and use an automated defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
Course Curriculum:
- CPR and AED use for adults, children, and infants
- Conscious and unconscious choking relief in adults, children, and infants
- Medical emergencies
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
- Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certification/Course Completion Card. This certification is valid for 2 years.
This class can be taken alone or with the First Aid class.
